Dr. Fairbanks has over thirty years of experience in the electrical engineering. He recently led a team of engineers in the development of a unique receiver. He is an expert on RF/analog and mixed-signal design, board and IC physcial design, EDA and server design and support, and device physics and modelling. He has worked on several technologies for device modeling under cyrogenic and radiation conditions including CMOS, SiGe, and GaAs.

Dr. Fairbanks completed his graduate work at the University of California, San Diego in Electrical Engineering. He is also California Board Certified as a Professional Electrical Engineer, E 16362.

Dr. Fairbanks has a patent issued on RFID authentication and has authored/coauthored numerous publications and lectures.
